Anna-Marie has over two decades of teaching and leadership experience. Born in Canada, she’s lived and taught worldwide and proudly calls New Zealand home. Her Master’s work was in the area of curriculum and assessment, examining the metacognitive behaviours of young readers.
Shannon Robinson

Shannon began her teaching at a primary school in central Auckland in the early 1990s before teaching for several years in the East End of London. She has proudly worked as Dean and DP at Murrays Bay Intermediate for the last 19 years, and her most recent studies have been in Child Protection.
Graham Franklin

Graham started his teaching career in 2005. After initially teaching in New Zealand, he worked in international schools in Dubai and Singapore. His most recent interests include the future of education and developing students' knowledge and skills for the future.
Kate Kruyen

Kate joined MBI in 2018 after working at Long Bay College for several years. She brings with her a wealth of property and finance knowledge. Since joining MBI, she has overseen several major improvement projects, including installing drainage to our field, resurfacing and upgrading our basketball court, and refurbishing several classrooms and buildings.
Dan Finlayson

Dann started his teaching career here at MBIS in 2011. After a period of time teaching in his hometown of Timaru and overseas in Macau, he returned to MBIS in 2018. Since then, Dann has been actively involved in our school curriculum development, particularly in Maths and our sports programme.
Sarah Holmes

Sarah started her teaching career here at MBIS in 2005 after being a student teacher in Melinda’s classroom. She lived in London in 2011, teaching at a school in South London in between exploring many parts of Europe. Sarah has seen many roles at MBIS, including classroom teacher, gifted education teacher, and music teacher.
